Kristian Bruun is a Toronto-born actor who has worked extensively on stages and screens across Canada and Europe. He is a graduate of Valley Forge Military Academy, Queen's University and the George Brown Theatre School. He is best known for his work as Donnie Hendrix on BBC America's “Orphan Black” and as Constable ‘Slugger’ Jackson on CBC's “Murdoch Mysteries”. Selected film and TV credits include the James Dean biopic Life directed by Anton Corbijn, starring Robert Pattinson, Dane DeHaan and Sir Ben Kingsley (which premiered at the 65th Berlin International Film Festival), Bang Bang Baby with Jane Levy and Justin Chatwin (Best Canadian Feature Film at TIFF 2014), “The Girlfriend Experience” (STARZ, Steven Soderbergh), and the comedy How to Plan an Orgy in a Small Town directed by Jeremy Lalonde.
